Erasmus+

The Erasmus+ Mobility Programme offers students, lecturers and other staff exchanges within the European Union/EEA. Sophiahemmet University has been awarded an Erasmus Charter for Higher Education 2014-2020 and we can offer student exchanges within the Erasmus+ programme from fall 2014.

Erasmus Policy Statement – summary
Sophiahemmet University’s mission statement includes improving the health and wellbeing of persons in the community through an excellent standard of education for nurses and researchers. Sophiahemmet University aims to strategically develop the internationalization and to build long-term collaborations with other institutions. International knowledge exchange is vital when it comes to maintaining high quality in educational programmes. We strive to have an international perspective and presence throughout the educational system and our university promotes mobility for students, lecturers and other staff. In the Erasmus programme our main focus is on the first and second cycle students and staff mobility.

Application procedure for exchange within the Erasmus+ programme

If you are interested in becoming an exchange student within the Erasmus+ programme at Sophiahemmet University, first contact your home institution to verify that your home institution has a bilateral exchange agreement with Sophiahemmet University.

Once you have been approved by your home institution you print and fill in the application form.
